Melanin Base Camp was founded in February, 2016, and Diversity Outdoors in January, 2018, in order to increase ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ participation in the outdoors.
MBC cares about communities and conserving public lands. They’re passing on their love of the outdoors to the next generation and they realize that representation matters.
