Guided Meditations in Nature

The benefits of regular mindfulness and meditation have long been hailed for their effects on our mental and physical health. Although we are aware of their benefits, many of us struggle to find the time or place to carry out these practices. For those of us living in busy households with constant digital distractions, it can be even more difficult to find that peace and quiet, which is why we recommend taking your practice outdoors.

When you are out in Nature, you do not need to worry about silencing your thoughts, but rather noticing the sounds around you, whether it’s the wind in the trees or the soft chirping of the birds. What’s more, by taking your practice outside, you are also able to reap the benefits of reconnecting with Nature, which has been proven to boost our mood and leave us feeling calmer (read our post on Ecotherapy here)

Here are some suggestions for guided meditations which will help you tune into your natural surroundings and leave you feeling grounded and ready to carry on with your day.
